These are a few of our favorite
Your Wife on Your Shoulder: First originating in Finland this odd show of strength is weirder than it sounds. It’s all about throwing your wife over your shoulder than running through an obstacle course – what’s more manly than that?
Underwater Hockey: It’s played all over Europe but it’s not all that similar to pool polo. Players try to get a puck into an underwater goal but this one’s not that exciting to watch unless you’ve got an underwater camera or you’re a participant yourself!
Mud Football: Gaining popularity in the US, this one’s just what it sounds like. It’s all about the regular rules of American football but the best games are played in the mud after a particularly outrageous downpour – be sure to wear something you don’t mind throwing away if you want to play yourself.

When the end of summer and early fall comes along, Football takes over the sports scene in Europe. The start of the new Premier League season is just one of the many sporting events that Europeans look forward to throughout the year. However, there are many other sports that Europeans enjoy to watch. In addition to football, there are many other events that almost all fans try to attend or watch.

Cricket is an up and coming sport on the continent of Europe and more specifically in Great Britain. It draws large crowds and is very popular among European sports fans. Also, cycling in Europe is a major attraction including the the worlds most watched race in the Tour De France. Even with all of these sports, football still runs the country and fans will still agree that football is king in Europe. There are a few games that people do not want to miss when it comes to football, including the Manchester United versus Chelsea football game. Also, the UEFA Champions League is the a huge event that draws fans from all over Europe and brings them together for a common goal. It is one of the most grueling football tournaments in the world and the winners bring pride to their clubs and their fans.

Rooting for a team really depends on personal allegiances or some moment of magic you may have seen a few years ago that sat in your mind. However, if you are looking for a team to root for major European soccer leagues then that is not very difficult. In Italy, being a fan of either Inter Milan, AC Milan or Juventus is probably a good idea as they are the three most successful teams. In England, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are the biggest spending teams with the most likelihood of success. Man City are a newcomer with their Arab owners, but they now have some of the best players in the world and will be a major force. United are the most successful domestic team in England and Liverpool have won 5 European Cups, more than any other team from the British isles.

In Spain, Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two teams that dominate proceedings on a yearly basis. The two make more money than anyone else, and so have the best players. Real Madrid are the most successful team in European soccer history, with 9 European Cups and more league titles than any other team in any of the major leagues. These are the teams to follow if you want to enjoy European soccer.

The best European sports events on TV are always their soccer, or football, games. Soccer in Europe is the biggest sport and the best teams in the world are European. There are domestic leagues in Italy, Spain, France, Germany and England that are followed all over the world. From these leagues, the top teams are a treat to watch and many channels show their games on a weekly basis. It is a privilege to get the chance to see an English Premier League or Spanish La Liga game, so you should definitely check them out. Even Italy’s Serie A, Germany’s Bundesliga and France’s Ligue 1 are fantastic to watch and provide great entertainment as some of the best clubs in Europe tussle with their national counterparts.

The cream of the crop in European soccer plays in the UEFA Champions League. This is a tournament consisting of 32 teams from Europe who have placed highly in their domestic leagues. The top 4 from England, Spain and Germany compete along with 3 from France and Italy and a host of clubs from other European nations. The likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Inter Milan and AC Milan can regularly be seen in the later stages of this competition.More info here: PSG interested in signing Beckham

Futbol is particularly popular in Europe in comparison to so many other regions of the world. It is something that has made some people curious as to why this is. There is no one reason that we can point to in order to explain the whole thing. There are just too many reasons why the Europeans love Futbol.

Primarily, it is the team atmosphere that gets a lot of people excited. You can support your hometown or home country team with plenty of passion. At the same time, you have to consider the fact that the Europeans happen to have some of the best teams in the world. The full explanation can be found at http://jezebel.com/5820657/why-women-dont-fake-it-on-the-field It is always easier to get plenty of fans behind a sport when you happen to have some of the best teams in the world.

Others have pointed to the fact that Futbol does not require a lot of equipment to play. All that you really need is some type of goal and a ball of any kind. Given the fact that this sport can thus be played just about anywhere, it has really taken over as the most popular sport in the world. The Europeans basically just have the largest population of fans that are able to gain constant access to the games.
